Jicky Edt once again today. It is a fantastic fragrance, although I have to breath through my mouth for the first five minutes after application. (Top notes are quite disturbing)

Have a nice Friday! :-*

"Aged" Guerlain With Love.

After receiving a fresh decant in a swap, I now recognize that part of the reason I like this frag better over time is that it ages noticeably. The fresh WL is sharper, the aged WL is mellow. Its soft peony hovers just above the juicy quince and jolly red rose. Talk about your winning Limited Editions ...

The last of my sample of Montale's Black Aoud.
I've been saving it because I knew when I used it up, I would be forced to buy a larger supply. One of those compulsively sniffable ones for me.

I wonder if the 'aged' factor has me wild about Coriolan. That and recovering from a severe bout with the flu.

All about my choice today: no, not Jicky, it was Clinique Aromatics Elixir. But the sillage and drydown are well worth all the suffering! 8-)
