I overdid it to a serious degree in the Nordstrom Fragrance Department, where I was testing new releases. I reek, and need to take a shower.
I tried writing down my thoughts on them, and got up to six before I lost my olfactory definition, and became unable to separate them on my skin.
So all those beyond the six I first tried were pretty much lost to me, unfortunately. I have to make another trip to test the rest.
'Lovely' by Sarah Jessica Parker was lighter on my skin than I expected, but had a discernable lightly chypre drydown. The name is misleading, though, I feel.
Chanel 'Allure Sensuelle' came off as a lightly sensual oriental gourmand on my skin.
J Lo 'Live' was a light fruity-floral, inoffensive, but somewhat synthetic and less nice than the above two. I found the above three new offerings to all be fairly light, and didn't grab my heart the way 'Black Aoud' did.
'Baby Phat Goddess' turned into a stinker on my skin, so there's no way I can rate or recommend it.
The other two I tried were old fragrances: 'Youth Dew' (which I liked and seems chypre to me, though it isn't classified as such), and 'White Linen' (though a classic, also became a stinker on my skin).
I also tried Euphoria, Promesse, Just Me, Guess, and My Queen, but was unable to gauge them correctly.
