I'm glad to announce you that I marry next week! Which original way to remember this special days, even years later? By smelling the perfume you wore on this day.

Mine will be "Parfum d'Ete" by Kenzo, which has been linked to my husband and me from the first year together.

What was yours? And the one of your love? Tell us your memories

I wore my own essential oil blend which had rose geranium, lavender, grapefruit and lemon. It was a small, home wedding, in the evening. We lit the place by candlelight and used drops of the same blend in the melted wax, so the whole atmosphere was lightly scented. It was a lovely evening with warmth, friends, family and lots of good vibes.

Parfum d'Ete is a spritely, yet soft, summery fragrance. The ambery base is so subtle, but just enough to give a hint of warmth. A lovely choice for a summer bride. All the best to you and your husband-to-be!

What a great sounding fragrance - I must mix up those EO's to see how it smells! It must have been very special to use for your wedding. Or very "you".

I'm considering marriage next year, and have already been mulling over which fragrance to use - it will have to be very 'symbolic' for me, which may mean making my own, as you. Lovely idea!

Yes- give 'em a "go"- it's great fun. Â*Used to do a lot more of my own mixing and blending years ago and then got away from it. Â*IMHO- I like to go light on the rose geranium as it can be a bit cloying in large amounts. Â*In smaller doses it can add a pleasant, clean sort of note.

Have a good time!

I wore Dior Dolce Vita six years ago. I bought it for the first time especially - and then curiously enough have never bought it again. Thinking about it now, I feel the need to try it all over again.

Thank you all for your whishes and for your answers. Your choices were great! Artisankey, it is so nice to have a personal scent linked to your wedding. tigrushka, that was very symbolic to wear the same perfume. Sometimes we wear the same too, Coco for example, which is very special on him And congratulations for flathorn, for her wedding next year!
