Got the La Myrrhe decant and couldn't resist ordering Fumerie Turque, Chêne and Rose de Nuit aswell.
I'll post reviews when they arrive.

Thanks for your review. I was fortunate enough to score a sample of this one quite awhile ago, but think I must re-try it at some point soon. On me it was bitter and medicinal, but unusual and unique all the same. My feeling at the time was that it was more suited to a men's wardrobe or those who usually prefer unisex fragrances.

It must have been interesting chatting with other SL fans. I think I would have enjoyed that a lot as well. The SL line intrigues me, even though the only one I wear regularly is Ambre Sultan. I love the olfactory imagry I get from these perfumes and wish many of them came in incenses.

Chene is brilliant Cedric, probably my (second) favourite scent at the moment. I love Fumerie Turque as well. Enjoy!

I´m sorry to say that I never really "got" La Myrrhe. I split a bottle unsniffed.. but had to pass on my half bottle, because we never seemed to agree [smiley=sad.gif]

I agree wholeheartedly!!! Â*I am Serge lutens fanatic & the la Myrrhe makes me physically sick. I can not stand the smell of it. Â*Some people say the smell of Angel or Prada literally makes them mad / angry.....that's how I feel about La Myrrhe! Â* Another SL that i don't get along with is Miel de bois. It hurts me to smell it. But I do like the new Un Cedre.

Unfortunately, La Myrrhe did not work out for me either. It never evolved into the spicy, honey-amber scent I was hoping for.

I LOVE Fumerie Turque and want a full bottle of it some day and I'm quite taken with Chene as well.
