Made an order at Scent-Sytems.

Yesterday I made an order at www.scent-sytems.com. Scent systems is this tiny shop in London that specialises in natural perfumes.
I ordered the sampling box from YOSH and minis from Aftelier,Pink Lotus (the bestseller) and Cacao. They don't come cheap but hey...

Any Yosh or Aftelier fans?

Yes Ced, I have tried many of the Yosh scents. Ginger Ciao and Omniscent are amazing, not impressed with the one that has the strange name. I have also sampled her full line of 'Pirate' scents along with Box G and Urban Essence.

Never tried any of the Aftelier scents. Many people who have tried them say that they are over rated although Hiram at scent systems says they are amazing.

Yes,thought I haven't smelled the Aftelier line, I was under the impression that they were rather simple compositions. What makes them special is that they are composed with vintage essences, some are more than 100 years old so they became very rich and concentrated. Maybe more interresting than artistic?

I have a small bottle of the cepes & tuberose. It's not a fragrance I would wear but I love to smell it occasionally, the wild mushroom ingredient has an earthy foetid smell which is gross and wonderful at the same time.
