Anyone tried this? I must say I'm intrigued

It smells a lot like Caron or Ormonde Jayne fragrances to me - if that helps you at all. I don't have the notes handy but you can find them on the POL website I'm sure. It's kind of a classy sophisticated type of scent.

Grant, my bottle is still on its way to me, will report as soon as it lands. [smiley=smiley.gif]

How do you get to their web site? I can't find it! [smiley=angry.gif]

It's a very rich, 'saturated' scent: it reminds me of a couple of other scents with strong rose notes, like Parfum Sacre and Nahema, yet it's definitely not a copy or imitation, either. Â*I still haven't decided if I'm comfortable wearing it, though: there aren't many scents with distinctive rose notes that I can handle. Â*But I definitely think the quality of the ingredients is apparent.

Sounds lovely! From the site, it seems to be:

Top notes: Muguet, Lavender, Bergamot, Geranium, Iris Absolute
Heart: Rose Otto, Rose Absolute, Bois de Rose, Jasmine Absolute, Ylang-Ylang, Canaga Oil
Base: Vetiver Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Pure Vanilla Absolute.

Can't wait to hear other reactions!

Sante.

I'm not much of a rose person, either. Love Parfum Sacré (but I have to be on the mood for it) and can't stand Nahéma... we'll see.

I'm very curious about this anyway!

Got it this morning! [smiley=smiley.gif]

The top notes are an attack of floral notes (meaning instant headache for me [smiley=sad.gif]) but then they mellow down, at least a bit. Will wait for the drydown for the "final" verdict but I guess I can already safely say that this is not my kind of scent at all. Way too floral to my taste.

Just received mine. I was so excited I could hardly get the box open!

First spray I get the Caron connection, straight away I thought of Caron's Rose. Now I am getting spicy a little like Tigress, which I wore as a teenager in the seventies.

OH I like this one so far!!

OK, the final drydown is quite nice: vetiver & vanilla, but I'm afraid I don't want to go through those top notes again. [smiley=sad.gif]

I'm just not inspired to try this one right now. Maybe later. It's been overhyped, I think its name is goofy, and I'm not impressed by it's creator. Just doesn't sound like a Fufu hit. Maybe somebody should slap me upside the haid for being such a drudge. [smiley=lolk.gif]
