Cheap Vintage Dioressence on eBay

It looks like there's a tester of vintage Dioressence on eBay. It's an old-style bottle, not the newer flacons (the ones that match with Diorella and Diorissimo). The starting bid is $7.99, and the Buy It Now price is $24.99 price for 3.4 oz. Luca Turin feels that LVMH has ruined Dioressence and the other Dior scents, so any fans of this wanting a bottle of the original might want to jump on this.

Woo Hoo! I won this one! I do hope it is the vintage fragrance. I fell in love with this one starting with the anecdote about how Guy Robert created this one (Miss Dior knockoff scented soap + ambergris = Dioressence) and then tried it out. It's been described as a chypre-oriental, and reminds me in its rich spiciness of some of Serge Lutens/Chris Sheldrake's creations (esp. Cuir Mauresque and Vetiver Oriental). Totally wearable by a man I think, and I will soon find out!
