for most of these perfumes, the high price is more due to the expensive bottles than the ingredients themselves.

All of us basenoters should start our own combined line (based upon the wealth of knowledge around here) and cash in!!!

Hmm, time to design the designer label. . . .

If it holds 17 oz, it must be a big bottle.

It doesn't look like it has a pump spray, so how would you apply it - splashing? Better not miss!

Lets not forget that all fragrances are diluted in alcohol and all these expensive ingredients are diluted !!!!
I do believe that if the makers did not make a fat profit on scent thet would not be in this business and yes the "lovely" bottle is these days more than ever what you really pay for.
Good niche market scent have one classic bottle for all their fragrances simple - effective and elegant what else do you need ???
