Another sad day in fashion... the House of Rochas is about to close its doors after 82 years, as the owner of the house (Procter & Gamble, who bought the fashion and perfume lines when they bought Wella) found the ready-to-wear segment unprofitable and a "non-core business" (read: it doesn't fit in with selling Tide).

There's some good news, though: Rochas Parfums will not be affected. According to P&G, all Rochas fragrances currently available will remain in production, so there's no need to stockpile Femme or Rochas Man.
