the raw ingredient, you mean? on its own, i never liked it that much because besides its extreme sweetness it also has sour acrid, sweaty aspects in it which can be rather disgusting. peru balm would be much nicer...

I have a feeling you mean the Ormond Jayne fragrance Tolu. Is that right? If so, I think it is a beautifully complex fragrance. Actually, I think all her fragrances are really inspired. My favorite is the men's original with its refreshing topnotes of juniper and cardamom and the unusal note of black hemlock. What a dazzler!

Passionately adore it! My clear favourite from the line, and the only one I have a bottle of (although I can't wait to try Orris Noir, I have a 'thing' about iris!) - I have been wearing it all day, and as ever just can't believe how good it is.

I'm usually not into buying niche fragrance as I live in a country where supplies are limited & very expensive, recently I had the good fortune to find a 50 ml. bottle of 'Ormonde Jayne' Tolu edp at a local house clearance sale, the iconic orange and black packaging instantly caught my eye and was thrilled to nab a full bottle for the grand sticker price of $1. Wow ! this is one gorgeous lush oriental, beautifully blended with a drydown that lasts for ever, such a shame it's not more widely available.
The treasures one can find at house & garage sales !

Yes I bought it on its release. Spicy warm

I like it. I bought the bath oil, it's light but makes for a smooth vanillic shower! (I mix it with eucerin shower oil)

It's really good fragrance, it is valued for its warm, mellow yet somewhat spicy scent.
