Keiko Mecheri - Gourmandises today again.

I am officially in love with this scent! Bummer, I had decided not to fall for any fragrance from the KM-line other than Loukhoum. Actually this one reminds me more of turkish delight than what Loukhoum does, and I guess that is what the "rose petal jam" listed as note refers to. But despite this, and despite the name, I find it much less gourmand than Loukhoum. Saffron and I guess the ambrette-note, add a dry, powdery edge, and it doesn´t have the "chew-on-wrist" effect of Loukhoum. In the gourmand sense it has much more to do with raw material, spices and fresh ingredients in a market stand, than with pastry. Great staying power too. And, I got a compliment at work

Found the lotion form of Feminite du Bois yesterday and the perfume essence of (pearl) Zen so I've had good hunting this weekend, too!

Today seems to be a rose day for many! Me, too. I'm wearing Pherose, which is in between Lancome Miracle and Miracle So Magic on the Rose-o-meter scale. Quite nice, light and fresh, the pale pink of the juice is apt. As for the pheromones, I don't detect any difference. It makes my husband sniffly, which doesn't exactly turn him on. When I go outside squirrels don't stick to my clothes or anything.

Youth Dew, because I've missed it all summer. It rained, so I had just enough coolness to wear it awhile.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday we were dealing with a major computer crash at home. All Bookmarks are gone and I had to re-register here. Was wearing SL Fleurs de Oranger and L'Artisan Fleur de Oranger yesterday and today. While SL's is truer to life, L'Artisan is prettier. No compliments yet, though!

It was Jean-Charles Brosseau Fleurs d'Ombre Violette-Menthe for me today. I still smell it, and it's lovely. Cool and feminine.
