Perles de Lalique, who's tried it?

Well, I tried a sample of this a month ago and wasn't thrilled, but I keep going back to the sample and it's growing on me, to the point I may actually want more! It's really quite an interesting chypre. The strong heart note of bourbon pepper put me off at first, but it grows on one.... I don't pick up more than a teensy whiff of rose, but the drydown is quite nice, just a tad of sweet musk to offset the other, stronger notes. The pepper remains till the end! The bottles just came out in several shops here in Germany, but I don't know if anyone's seen it in the States yet. Any other reactions? It's definitely original, and that's always a plus.

Just searched on this, as it looks quite interesting. Will see if I can try it next weekend.

I'm definitely interested in this...I haven't seen it anywhere around here, but the only stores that would carry it is the Saks (which doesn't have the full Saks stock) downtown. The fact that it's a NEW chypre definitely piques my interest.

I've already smelled it around in several cities in Germany- it's in some of the shops now and it seems that (at least German women) are wearing it. It's funny how different things are here and in the US. Marketing people must plan quite different releases for different regions.
