2) Nicole Miller PH
3) Dolce & Gabanna By Man
4) M7 (original version.. "not" fresh)

Prince Barry,

Don't Crown's Fougere and Penhaligon's English Fern almost smell identical? Throw Trumper's Wild Fern into the mix and see if you can tell one from the other.

Very true, but I find that the Crown has a much deeper and woodier fern note than English Fern. That's why I put them together in my top 10. I have a sample of the Wild Fern as well.

I have smelled absolutely 0 niche fragrances, but of what I've tried..

1) Allure
2) Envy - wish I could wear it more, summer doesn't settle as well with me for it and I'm still undecided about how the girls feel about it*
3) Allure Sport
4) Guess Man
5) AMEN Summer Flash - might need to revisit it, I only gave it one go and liked the spicy, salty, diluted sweetness of it but I'm not sure. if it's what I thought it was, then this is where it goes.
6) Armani Code
7) Banana Republic M
8) Eternity Summer
9) Versace Man Eau Fraiche
10) Givenchy Very Irresistible - though I can't wear it due to skin chemistry, I absolutely love this and AMEN original and wish they'd work for me.

*one of my best girl friends was smelling my collection and when she smelled Envy she said "Ohh man. That's it. Game over. This is my FAVORITE." My mom said she liked it the most, "though it is sweet," but as far as I can tell, girls my age go more for light fresh stuff than sweet heavier stuff. Allure Sport, Guess Man, Jake, and Very Sexy 1(my four only other fragrances, haha) get compliments when I wear them, and I haven't worn Envy enough to find that out/get one. Plus I only feel right wearing it if I'm at a fancy place or wearing a suit/blazer.

well this is pretty bogus have I even tried 10 things I like? let's see!

Mark Birley
nr.88
GIT
Erolfa
Spicy Cocoa
Soda
Avignon
musc ravageur
iris poudre
vetiver extraordinaire - but I never even tried it on

well that's 10 and I had to stretch it
the last three I really hardly know

and clearly with me it's a case of "niche first, ask questions later"

still my horizons have expanded in a month or so from being a one scent man

as an attentive basenoter I'm dying to try:

live jazz (even though the name is corny it's also incredibly smart, cause live jazz is like a completely different animal than jazz via a recording, night and day, for me, and I almost never take an interest in recorded jazz)
kouros
egoiste
eau sauvage
eau d'issey
yohji
dzing (tried on a toothpick didn't smell anything)
tea for 2 (toatdsa)
vetiver guerlain
gucci envy I guess but at this point I'm still like oh probably every swingin dick is wearing it..
