L 12 12 Noir smells fantastic. It's slightly sweet, yet fresh, and is suitable for all occasions. However, the longevity is pretty poor. If I spray this on my arm, it's undetectable within an hr or 2.

I present to you Eau de Toilette TFC, the official scent of the Toulouse FC (a French football club):

I'm very tempted to order this, but I can't find any word on what it actually smells like. I have to say, though, Toulouse FC has the most awesome colors for a sports team.
