Hello everyone,

I thought I`d make another ridicilous thread - just because I`m bored I guess...

So, the question will be: In which room you think you are at your best, in a way or another, and in which room you feel yourself most comtortable overall.
What is your favourite room (and why?)

Understood?? Okey, let`s go.


ps. if anyone is interested, i`ll give my own answer soon as if this thread will start to flow nicely.


edit:with an addict I actually meant attic

edit 2: I just remembered that I should have included panic room and insane asylum

edit 3: I also realized that within this ten minutes i made this thread,I probably could have done something much more usefull and reasonable.

And let me just add that for some (sick) reason I`ve been always very exited about bomb shelters. Now, I`m not sure does that even count as a any sort of room, but I remember when we were little boys we were always so exited to visit as many bomb shelters as possible. They were magical places to be.
Still today, it always creeps me out to go there.

Since I'm also bored I'll post a totaly random reply:

I voted for the shower/sauna room, even though most of the bathrooms I've been in have the toilet in there as well. I guess the japanese have it clear though, never having the place where you clean yourself near the place where you "relieve" yourself.

My rant is as follows: why oh why some architects make bathrooms without windows? a pitiful air extractor is almost pathetic! Even if it's the most potent extractor ever, there's nothing like looking out a window while you shower!

And, yes, I´ve been to buildings where if you open the bathroom windows all your neighbors get a free look. Whatever man, those moments are the spice of life! hehehehe, plus, if they can watch you, you can watch them!

I have come to despise apartments with windowless bathrooms.
I've also been to houses where the bathroom window is by the kitchen, here goes the evil eye to whomever designed that!

So, I guess because I live in a tropical enviroment it molds my opinions about it, if I where to live in a place where "below 0· C." is a common temperature in winter, I'd probably think twice about having a window in the bathroom... but if you have good heating, what's a window or two? right?

I voted for child's room because it is the only room in which I thank God everytime I go into...I wasn't supposed to ever have a child.

I voted for the bedroom. I love to read in bed on a rainy fall day with my windows open. I sleep with my little son, and very often we crack ourselves up at bedtime, so much so that now I announce 'play time' at 9 PM. I love a good nap.

I voted bedroom too. My bedroom is on the second floor, and I love the view of the trees and the yard from there. It's a very cozy room, shades of blue (are you surprised?) and brown.

none of the above!
i love my Verandah -upper floor preferred.

but i did vote anyways and i chose shower/ sauna. I LOVE the water (swimmer 20+ years) , if i could i'd spend all my time underwater and become a fish.
