Spicy-woody or spicy-tobacco

I like the MIller Harris Tabac, but it has a bit of a soap note. Not too bad though, but in an ideal purchase, it would be out of there. I tired of Piper Nigrum and fell in love with the smoky coffee in Eau Des Iles. So to balance that Eau des Iles and the Floris Santal (soft and creamy) that I am getting, I think a spicy wood or spicy tobacco cologne. Maybe the Miller Harris without the soap and a bit of Piper combined?

Any thoughts?

Ever try Halston Z-14? Sounds like what you're describing but isn't niche.

Here is my lineup so far

Creed GIT
Creed MI
MPG Eau des Iles -smokey coffee on me
Floris Santal - dries to a slightly floral and woody creamy
Fumerie Turque on order

Choices are: Miller Harris Feiulles de Tabac and Parfumes De Nicolai New York.

I can sell my Floris

Dont want to overlap. I also dont want to invest major dollars in Noir Epices unless it blows me away, in which case Fumerie is out. Miller Harris ($108.00 for 3.4 ounces), New York ($79 for 3.4 ounces) and Floris Santal ($42.00 for 3.4 ounces)

Radix: I had tried, like 5 years ago when they were still available in Memphis, Bel Ami and Rocobar. My wife thought each smelt like an old man, though Rocobar as I recall had a little vanilla in it and was a fine cold weather scent.
