You sure don't want to let that baby slip and shatter on the bathroom floor.

Its very heady, and envelopes you like a mist. Also, Rose attar is a sillage monster, you really need to have it layered with other fragrances. Its beautiful, nonetheless, depending on what variant of rose you have there. I'd say you should order a very tiny sample first, and even a little 3 ml bottle will last you a long long time.

In the past two years, the government of Turkey (the main producers of the best rose otto) have lifted their subsidies, allowing the price to match the demand. There were subsidies for decades, keeping the price artifically low.

The best source for rose otto is from a company based in Turkey, run by an American, shipping out of Maryland. I have purchased essential oils from them for 8 years, and their prices are the best, the quality is the best, and I would not purchase rose otto from any other source http://av-at.com YOu can can as little as 1 ml. The 2005-2006 crop is fantastic!

It's early, no coffee yet, and I forgot to mention a TX-based company, one I've also been buying from for 8 years, who gets her rose otto from the guy in Turkey, has faster shipping and more fun items on her site: http://alittleolfactory.com

I love the smell of roses and Joy by Jean Patou is my fave fragrance of all time so when I read about attar of roses or rose otto I was fascinated. When I saw the price I was even more excited. In my country of origin men wear rose attar and the smell is so overwhelming and lasts for ever so am hoping it will be worth it.

Might be a dumb question but how do you apply the rosé otto for best results? A tiny dab on the finger and rubbed on the neck or what?

Thanks!
