Looking for the original Greenbriar

Thread Starter
With great regret, I am about to open my last package of original (1984) Greenbriar by Caswell Massey. I've been using this fantastic fragrence for nearly 20 years and now that they have replaced it with something I would never wear, I would like to find a replacement that is as close to it as possible. Thanks for any help here - I appreciate it!

Welcome to the boards!

I got my replacement off ebay, but I just did a quick search for ya and didn't find anything listed other than the new juice (which is definitely not the same).

You might give Antaeus a shot; the top notes are different to be sure, but I find the base of both to be nice and harsh herbal badness which I like. Antaeus seems to be ameliorated with honey or beeswax while Greenbriar is ambery. Personally I have never found the comparisons to Polo to be apt, but it might just be my skin.
