Top note: Violet, Plum, Cassis, Anise, Jasmine, Mimosa, Orange, Tiare Lily
Middle note: Tuberose, Orange Blossom, Ylang-Ylang, Iris
Base note: Tonka, Vanilla, Benzoin, Sandalwood, Musk, Incense

(I forgot how beautiful my Lou Lou is! But all my favorites are just so gorgeous in this cool weather we're having right now!)

Today I'm sampling Tamya.
Ayala Moriel's

Top notes: Japanese citron, Blackcurrant buds, Coriander
Heart notes: Jasmine sambac, Hyacinth, Frangipani
Base notes: Atlas cedarwood, Ambrette seed, Vanilla

Tamya--as pretty a jasmine fragrance as any I've worn. I like florals, but I know some folks don't, and I suppose one reason might be that a single flowery note rises above all others and starts drilling its presence into the brain. In Tamya, the surrounding notes restrain the jasmine from growing too boastful, while at the same time none of them really steps ahead of the jasmine either.

Today it happens to be misting outside, and I wish it were a mist of Tamya I could walk through. I'd love to experience this scent in the outdoors. But I fear Tamya is so mild, I'd lose track of her in the wind.

Une Folie de Rose--a beautiful, powdery, spicy chypre rose. This and Un Zest, the sweet/sour, lemon/iced tea rose, are my favorites of Les Parfums de Rosine.

No perfume for me today - I'm languishing in bed with a sickness bug!
Can't face food, let alone perfume. Nice reading about your choices though!
I'm dreaming of wearing something citrussy tomorrow, however. Any ideas what might perk me up?

I hope you feel better soon, kewart. When I need perked up, I wear something lemony with verbena in it, like L'Occitane's Verbena Harvest. If you're sick to your stomach, ginger is good. Maybe Ginger Essence by Origins?

Today I'm wearing YSL Paris Roses des Bois, roses and blackberry brambles in the woods.

Today I thought I would sample Pilar and Lucy's "Tiptoeing Through Chambers Of The Moon" but it turns out my sample is labled wrong. I am actually wearing "The exact Friction Of the Stars" which is supposed to be a Luscious vanilla fragrance with coconut, orange and chocolate. So far I feel like one of those layered candles where each layer is a different flavor. I started out smelling like a car air freshener and progressed right into coconut layer cake and thus far it has turned to public restroom air freshener. It has been an interesting day! I hope this smells better on others.
