Dark fruity scents

I recently had a whiff of one of these scents on the train and was totally baffled at what it might be. At first sniff I mistakened it for being one of the powerhouses because of the apparent potency but the composition tells me it cant be any of the powerhouses. With minty top and a prominent fruit note like blackcurrent or grapefruit or something similar and has a very perfumy, musky, heavy and also very young feel to it and I think it is a musculine scent. Definitely not an aquatic. Don't get too serious about it though, it could just be some axe body spray some kid put on, but I dont really think so.

Could be Black XS. It 'smells' like pitch darkness..

My description looks exactly like Black XS but I know it is not because I used to have Black XS. This one has a lot of development and thickness to my nose, comparable to the heavier scents.

I immediately thought that maybe it was one of the three Opium ph. As you said it was not a powerhouse, it could be the new Opium Eau d'Orient ph.
The only other that comes to my mind, as you say it had a very young feel to it, would be Versace Blue Jeans, which is aimed at younger ones, and starts off with a "citrus cocktail".

Pomegranate Noir?

The description sounded a lot like Hugo Deep Red for women. I've ALWAYS contended that I think a man can wear this. I greatly prefer men's frags to womens, but I always sneak some of this from my mom whenever she's visiting here or I'm down there. It's a great mysterious frag.

Eh, well...when I think about "dark fruity scent" I think of Mickael Kors for Men or Serge Luten`s Daim Blond.

Or, could it have been even a "Musc et Java" by Les Nereides..??

I would also say Xeryus Rouge, Dunhill Desire or possibly John Varvatos
