polo black or polo double black

post #1 of 5
Thread Starter
after checking some new fragrances recently, and finally deciding to wait until i find the right now without being disappointed - i decided on polo black, sweet and spicy fragrance that's different and refreshing and from what i gather, very popular among the opposite sex...
everything else is either boring or bad - prada man smells more feminine than some female perfumes....dior homme is too sweet

now the question is - has anyone tried polo double black? should i wait for this or is it not going to be as good a formula as the original?

Just sampled it once but at the first glance Polo Double Black is smoother and warmer than Polo Black. They are pretty close to each other though.

Welcome on board, you've made your entry I say Hope you'll not be disappointed to learn that some of us do find at least 2-3 more scents worth to try.

It's kind of weird how L'Oreal launch men's fragrances. Check this out:

Romance ---> Romance Silver
Armani Mania ---> Armani Code
Polo Black ---> Polo Double Black

It looks like the second attempt is always more successful than the first one. They just slightly change the bottle, slightly change the name and improve (change) the juice. Couldn't it be better to do everything at the first attempt or at least launch the second one with a different concept?
