Jaipur Homme... again...

Okay, I've read all the reviews, threads, etc. but I'm still a little confused about whether to get the edt or the edp. Normally, if there's an edp version available, I'll usually go for that. However, everyone seems to be quite divided with Jaipur.

So, in order to settle this issue one and for all (well, in my mind anyway), I would like a few opinions based on the following facts:

1) I'm not a very big fan of powdery frags
2) I already have Pi (edp) and Le Male and don't want a 'duplicate frag'
3) 24hrs longevity isn't important to me - more like 8 hrs
4) And, no, I don't want both!

So, based on this, can someone please give me some extra guidance.

Cheers.

It actually sounds as if you've already made up your mind in favor of the EdT?!

Do you really think so? I've tried getting samples from Harrods but they didn't have any, so I'm currently finding it difficult to reach a firm conclusion. I also wanted to compare the edp version to Pi, just to see how similar they actually are (hence this thread).

get the edp. if your going to go for this type of scent, you probobly want a rich long lasting frag anyways, so why go half way?

I prefer the EdP, for what that's worth.

In this case, I'd recommend the EDT. I find that the EDP has a very powdery finish.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your opinions but I think I'm going to give Jaipur a miss.

I've just come back from testing the edp at House of Fraser (they didn't have the edt tester to compare it with). All I can say is that I much prefer Pi edp. They're both very similar but Pi edp seems to be a lot more versatile (and sexier, IMO). Also, Jaipur edp doesn't work as well on my skin as Pi - at first it smells too classy for regular use then it goes a bit crude on me.

So, unfortunately, I haven't been converted.
