I am once again looking for recommendations for a winter scent.

So far I own Lacoste Red, Guess man and Envy by Gucci.

I am looking for something more winter-like; I want a sweet, maybe flowery fragrance that is heavy enough to be cozy in winter. I really like that flowery note in Guess man (Violet maybe? I'm still new at identifying scents)

I am 18 years old, it should be a fun daily fragrance; suggest away!

Thanks a lot! =)

Also, some of my candidates are: (although they are not flowery)

Emporio Armani White
Pi
Perry Ellis 360 white
Live Jazz
Armani Code.

Opium PH EDP all the way!!

I cannot find either of those here in Mexico =(

The only Opium I can find is EdT, and Geir I cannot find.

I am a sad panda.

B*Men ... a very underrated fragrance, this is what A*Men should have been.

Of those you've suggested, ones I can suggest for you to check out are PE 360 White and Armani Code. Neither is persay a specific winter scent, but both are great for day-to-day useage, hard to hate, and in experience quite popular with the ladies if that's something you're looking for.

360 White is basically JPG Le Male minus the top note mintyness from my perspective. Everyone on here hates it but I love Le Male, probably one of my favs and it garners a lot of compliments. Whenever I finish my bottle of Le Male I'll probably just grab this, it's cheaper and very, very close to equivalent.

Armani Code is a great day-to-day one as well. Gets lots of compliments, decent longevity, very pleasent. Only shortcoming it Armani scents tend to be expensive but nothing rediculous.

Of the others, Emporio White I found to be so-so, it's pleasent but not amazing and I found it to have pretty poor longevity. Pi is good if you like a super thick, sickeningly sweet vanilla-ish scent. Live Jazz is lighter, not super for winter, doesn't last very long - a lot of people on here are in love with it, but my opinion is that it's nothing ultra special.

Get out and test if you can. If you want something flowery which is quite interesting I'd suggest you check out D&G By Man. Quite a strong lavender aspect to it and people use adjectives like animalistic for it, it's tough to describe in words but it's quite unique. Check that out if you get a chance.

Good luck!

Here are a few that may be what your're looking for:

Jaïpur Homme
Habit Rouge
Samsara
Héritage
Dior Homme
Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentrée
Égoïste
Coco
Desire
Alamut
Sculpture Homme
Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin

I agree with many scents that have been posted, but you didn't say wich heavier scents you have liked before i mean, out of your list, only Pi and Code seem the most "wintery" scents, the others are too fresh IMHO.

So i would recommend Minotaure by Paloma Picasso: it's sweet, it has flowers, but it's masculine and is heavy enough.

It sounds like you might enjoy Silver Winter Dream by Réné Lezard, but that's a German house unlikely to be available in Mexico.

Alexander Julian, Colours for Men is an extremely flowery oriental which I would personally only wear at about minus 150 degrees to keep it from overwhelming me and everybody within a radius of fifty miles. It's good though

Sables by Annick Goutal is very autumn/wintery, sweet and floral, but you need to love that immortelle scent.

Burberry Brit is great, as noted, and if the new London lasts well on you, that might be worth trying.

Dior homme for a comforting iris scent.

Richard James EdT combines very masculine notes with tuberose. Very smart and sophisticated, a big recommendation.

Well you said you're in mexico so you may not be looking for a cold weather scent per se. If you like florals that are mausculine and comforting and bright I have two suggestions. Sonia Rykiel Homme is filled with cuddly violet. A bit snuggly but definitely bright and cheerful. The other is L'instant ph. It's floral but a bit thick although not too much so. Both are easily available online at good prices.
enjoy,
m

Based on the reviews I'd say Au Masculin and L'Instant would be good choiced.

How about Rive Gauche?

Is The Dreamer flowery? I heard it has some tobacco notes, so I don't know if I'd like that.

I'll definitely check PE 360White.

Also, keep in mind we don't have a lot of the stuff you guys suggested over here in Mexico, and I have no CC, so Ebaying is out of the question =P

^ Rive Gauche is the anti-flowery sweet frag.

The best sweeter winter frags that include floral notes are Dior Homme, Geir, and Armani Code IMO.

Yeah I can understand how the selection would be limited.

LL Au Masculin is nice, but you better like licorice. I'm not a huge fan of that but if you like it, this is your scent. L'instant de Guerlain is a really nice woodsy scent. For that genre, it's one of my favourites, although I tend to personally steer from the really out in the woods group.

As long as you can find most of the major designer stuff you have plenty of great stuff to choose from.

Dior Homme
Jaïpur Homme EDP
Armani Code (Black Code)
Allure or Allure Sport
A*Men (ask for samples from the comapny)
Tea for Two (again, ask for samples)
Terre D'Hermes ('' ")
Body Kouros
Relax by Davidoff
By Man by Dolce & Gabbana
L'eau D' Issey
Creed MI (or Unforgivable, it's not as good as MI but it's similar and cheaper)

I guess pretty much anything in my wardrobe and wish list lol

You might wanna try Zino Davidoff. It may be leathery, but it packs a good amount of florals. It'll keep you warm in the winter believe that, it's an timeless old-school wonder.

It was 1 degree celsius today, that's pretty cold, IMO.

I'm going fragrance shopping (yet again) tomorrow! I'll check CK Obsession, Brit, The Dreamer (I can't find this fragrance, IT'S AVOIDING ME!), Very Irrésistible and Héritage.

I'm really looking forward to it =)
