Im looking to get a new cologne and im looking for something that has the same sort of smell that chrome has. Some colognes i was looking online at were Higher, Issey Miyake, Unforgivable, D&G, and a couple others. Does anybody have any recomendations on what cologne i shlould get?

Welcome to Basenotes!

I really like:
212 and Live Jazz. Those would be a great two to look into as well. Your taste seems to be in citrus. I would run a quick search for citrusy fragrances. Good luck on your hunt!!

CKOne is very, very similar to me.

Hey there,

Welcome aboard.. you might want to give Davidoff's Echo a try.. I also second CK One but if you already have chrome, why not branch out and try something a little different?

I suggest Armani Code, John Varvatos, Unforgiveable as safe, pleasant options... as starters..

When your nose becomes a little more refined you'll be able to pick out particular notes that appeal to you..and others that don't.

good luck!

When I got reacquainted with fragrances, these 5 were the ones I started off with:

Armani Black Code
Polo Blue
Guerlain Vetiver (introduced me to the earthy note of Vetiver)
Gucci Envy (my first oriental)
Live Jazz (a coriander and mint note fragrance - was an unusual citrus for me)

I love Chrome as well and consider these fresh and clean like Chrome:

*Estee Lauder Pleasures for men
*Creed Himalaya
*Tommy T
*Halston Unbound.....cheaper and better than Acqua di Gio
*Polo Sport
*Claiborne Sport
