Burberry Brit is the best smelling glue

So I finally got my hands on a sample of Burberry Brit PH (Thanks, Joel_Cairo!) and I've been testing it for the last few hours.

Brit smells like white carpenters glue! At least the opening does. The drydown is lovely though - powder, spices, rose petals, and woods. Mmmm I really do like the drydown but I cannot stand the topnotes. It just reminds me too much of glue.

Do anyone else get a similar reaction to the topnotes like I have?

I actually like the opening and topnotes. I think it's the Green Mandarin in it. Something that smells fruity and appleish. It's probably my favorite part of Brit.

Also, I really love the top notes, but the dry-down is too simple, Armani Code is way better after about 2 hours in that category.
