It's the poodles. I've found the mere presence of poodles increases my attractiveness 1000%

Perhaps that's why Steinbeck chose to travel with Charley!
One of these days I'll find a decent pic to post. I have to second what someone else said. Basenoters seem to be such a good-looking lot.

Travels with Buddy

This picture was taken on a trip to pick up a homebuilt Rhodes Bantam sailboat in Minnesota -- over 2000 miles away.

(Warning: This picture may be prone to self-destruct at any time.)

Edit: In answer to Schachman's question, Buddy's the one with the black hair.

Very cool. Do you think you could take a couple pictures that show your tattoo in detail? I love seeing people's art.

Just a suggestion...why don't you start a new thread when you post a photo of your tat? I'd start one myself, but alas, I'm tattooless...

I don't have any actually. Not yet anyways. I've never been able to find something that really struck me enough to have inked on my body, but I've been considering for a couple years now.

Hey thanks for the heads up, i did think of it, but was slightly afraid that some may not take too well to tattoos? Ive been insulted quite vulgarly in only the 2nd forum i ever joined, they didnt like ppl who tattooed names of others. so im still a little hesitant, a longer staying member maybe a better to start a thread? honestly im quite phobic for that matter, coz many younger ppl in that forum tend to gang up against new comers, though basenotes is by far the most mature bunch of souls, i think id leave its as it is now, i'll PM those who like to see ink on skin. Really sorry for being a party- pooper, will edit my previous post

here's an update not tattoo specific

Me extreme right in blue tee, with mum beside me, Jasmine(hairstylist to local and Hong Kong celebs), Sean a good mate in red, at a local club

(If you noticed under the naval section there are some old english letters, would read cheryl, we discussed marriage and co-inhabiting before i got ditched) The closest I ever got to bulking up, this was an event for cleo's bachelor 07 finals Singapore. Ive always been scrawny so i thought i should show this off while the date taken is still relevant (of course the lighting made it look alot better) cos as it is presently, im losing all the mass i managed to put on (thanks to spending all on fragrance and ditching my mass gainer supplements)

My younger brother, prince(named after one of my fave singers), very much lives up to his name. This is my fave pic of the little devil taken a couple years back, he is now much bigger and very much still the attention hogger of the family. He was so up to misbehavior, i rem he would always come into my granny's a take a leak infront of her fav couch, and with granny hardly able to walk and quite senile then, always yelled at the top of her voice and called him a silly monster in dialect. She would very often forget about prince often asking us to bring the dog back the the neighbours. It was a very endearing phase. And prince so obviously did that intentionally, coz he would nvr dare piss anywhere else in the house, and would do it only when she was sitting on that couch. Almost every single day, and he got really sneaky, really cute this pamapered brat

may i add that ubuandibeme has really nice blue eyes!

I'll prob start a thread "Pics of other addictions" sounds better?

Here are some "messy" stills from the movie I'm working on right now. The poor actress in the pictures threw her back out having to drag me around so much.

Cheers,

Mathewfoo ~ My dear, you are NOT scrawny, you are most definitely LEAN! Tatoos intrigue me...and yours look very nice. My daughter just got her first one recently, but it's more poetic than picturesque!

I hope you will continue to post on this site, new additions are welcomed here!

Anak, those shots are cool, thanks for posting them!

I think it's time to post a picture since I've been lurking and looking at everyone else's. Great seeing the faces behind the names: Ubuandibeme, SMM, Divatologist and a lot of others. Basenoters are such a good looking bunch as some people have previously expressed.

Here's one of my husband and I at a "black tie" event last year:

P.S. I now have a crush on about 10 guys on here (especially the older American gentlemen who are just so damn sexy!).
That would be 11 now

Ah, see, that doesn't count if #11 was already counted in the original 10

Basenote's Rule #378.98 states no flirting or cohorting with other members due to high airline prices. Was I in the first 5 ?

Oh, better stop before I might break some rules then!

Thanks for the heads up, ive tried a couple of tests shots of my tatts but they were awfully blurry, i'll be trying to get some better ones taken soon. And its really cool how your open about it, i rem my mum rushing back into her room praying when she saw my first, but that was more than 10 years ago, now she sometimes follow me to get mine done, the last was a birthday gift she paid for HEHE. she's more open now after her colleagues got some done. a cheeky qn how old is you daughter, you look awfully young for a mother who has a daughter that has tattoos

Found some really old pics when i used to do some shows to get some extra allowance, Im trying to find a pic of me falling off the runway, which left me with a sprained ankle haha

Singapore Fashion Fest 04 (energie, guess, diesel)

really old pics from 8-9 years ago when i did some jobs, when i was randomly asked off the street to contact an agency which i initially thought was a scam. Fortunately they were for real, and i couldnt believe i was earning money... it was a good income source for a teenager then. Didnt like the industry and called it quits after a change of management in the agency that gave me jobs

pics from a local men's mag

My first Editorial in FHM Singapore. The stunning Canadian lady had flawless skin and beautiful eyes, which was why i was the cameo background prop haha

Nukapai--what lipstick are you wearing in the first pic? It's a wonderful shade and we have similar colouring.

Great pics everyone, I'll see if I can figure out how to upload one later today.

Thank you!

I've changed it recently to a lighter shade, but that one's a lot of fun (literally head-turning sometimes). Mine goes so bright because my natural hair colour is light underneath.

So Mr. Silverbullet Miyagi, have you taught your young proteges the all-important mantra of:

"Scent On, Scent Off"

matthewfoo, you're not the only one with fashion pics. :P lol
post #883 of 890
anamari, WOW. You and your husband look sooo elegant.
Nukapai, looking very beautiful, and by the way you look in those pics I bet you're a really fun person too.
Delia, you look exquisite. Just stunning.
Anamari, you and your husband look like the king and queen or president and first lady; very chic.

Silverbullet, now you're just taunting me (I'm still going to look at the Karate situation locally... who knows!)

And thank you, Mostapha!
You guys, everyone is being much too kind.

We've got beautiful people here at Basenotes, just incredible. Beautiful modeling shots of Delia and matthewpoo. Handsome young men to pick from, and some more mature. We've got it all!

Nukapai - love that hair..... I've been going redder because I like it so much but because my streak is natural (I've had it since I was 14) I can't go tooo red.

Yes, having naturally light hair probably helps. People like me probably have to bleach to get that cool color, but I never had the guts to do it!
Anamari - your streak is tres chic

Darkdreams - yes, absolutely, and bleaching has the disadvantage of severely weakening hair, so those who need to bleach before the vibrant colour eventually have to get the chop, or give up!
