Lately I've become more and more into the older Guerlain classics.I'm concidering ordering vol de nuit online unsniffed.I know this might seem a bit unwise, but still concidering it.I like Mitsouko parfum,Trouble and Shalimar a lot.Can anyone please try to describe to me how Vol de nuit smells like in comparison to these others? Will this be a wise buy?

Well, not much to say about this, it's floral, it's fruity, it even has some "beach" feeling, but the game is too short and boring...how can they just think that someone would pay that price for...

Going on with my Gardenia state-of-mind... This one is my Holy Grail for Gardenia scents, maybe it's a tiny bit less realistic than "Gardez-Moi" (even though it contains mostly Gardenia...

First of all, It's a Gardenia phase for me, so I'm trying to sniff almost every Gardenia-based fragrance (wish I could try "Une voix noire", because I'm a leather-addict) and must admit that this...

Posh Cool Water Green Irish Tweed is undoubtedly a finer scent than its Davidoff cousin, of much higher quality, smoother, less of the somewhat stiff, aggressive wife beater vibe, alas as I...

That bright summery top note combines a restrained lemon, a full-on neroli and a rosemary note, that in the drydown turns greener. This transforms into a mint aroma with a hint of eucalyptus, and...

Vol de Nuit is best sampled before buying. I also love Mitsouko parfum, Shalimar (all strengths) and Boucheron Trouble but would say that Vol de Nuit has a greater similarity to an old Caron. I experience Vol de Nuit as being closer in mood and texture to Caron Narcisse Noir, Caron En Avion, Revlon Intimate, and Guerlain Chamade parfum. Do you like any of these?
I would definitely recommend you try before you buy. Though I must admit that I did buy mine blind and have come to love it! I have the PdT / EDP strength and am furiously saving for the parfum.
Good luck , whatever you decide. Happy Sniffing!
