What do you wear when you can't decide what to wear?

Thread Starter
Ever have those days where you stand in front of your 'drobe looking at all your bottles & you just can't decide what you're in the mood for, so you throw on an old favorite/standby? What are the ones you wear in this instance? Mine are: CK one, CK be, TM Cologne, & Ken Cole Reaction.

My wardrobe isn't all that big, so I usually just have to throw a coin. Sometimes I roll a dice.

Happens to me practically every morning ... and it costs me money. I can't tell you how many times I've been late to work because I just can't decide.

But depending on the season ... warmer weather it's M7 Fresh and D'Orange Verte Concentree when I can't decide. In cooler weather it's Brit and Cuiron.

I wear CK one also. But I usually look towards Echo or Curve, just frags I think are suitable to wear almost everyday cause they are no so special to me.

Lanvin L'Homme: I've never heard of anyone being offended by it.

This time of year its the trusty Dior-Homme-under-Bulgari-Black combo, but Burberry London is quickly becoming a frequent default. I've gone through about 95mls since mid-september.

I usually wrestle with my decision until I get an answer or end up wearing nothing at all or just sampling something.

For days when I have to leave the house and meet others, I choose from the following fail-safe choices:

Warm weather - D&G Feminine, Halston Classic, Eau Sauvage, Caron Bellodgia, Crown Perfumery Eau de Quinine.

Cold weather - Guerlain AA Winter Delice, Lagerfeld KL, Guerlain Shalimar parfum, Estee Lauder Youth Dew.

All year round - Yardley Sandalwood, SL Fleurs d'Oranger, Guy Larouche Fidji, Gres Cabochard, Anna Sui Dreams, Guerlain Champs-Elysees.

I have many more to choose from but these give me a wide enough varity to satisfy any mood and not offend others.

These are all good "stand-by scents" in my wardrobe:
Halston Catalyst for Men, Léonard pour Homme, Paul Sebastian (Original) for Men, Jean Pascal pour Homme, Eau Sauvage Extrême, Bulgari Black, The Dreamer, Equus (usually the eau de parfum version), Shalimar, Bois de Portugal, Havana/Havana Reserva

Gendarme usually.

Simple rule - If in doubt go for Guerlain. Always works for me .

I rotate a lot, so I'm usually not in want of anything. I try to keep seasonal issues in mind. I have a stash of the first and second:

1.) Balenciaga Pour Homme
2.) Davidoff Relax
3.) Shiseido Basala
4.) Laura Biagiotti Roma Uomo
5.) Ralph Lauren Safari for Women

GIT or Black XS

Eau des Merveilles and Mugler Coligne used to be my safe everyday scents when nothing else seemed right. But now that I wear LV Uomo every day...

Eau Sauvage or Guerlain Vetiver
If i think that making the choice will take me more than time than i want it to be, I just grab whatever is the closest and run away and make it work for the day.
It used to be CK One...
Nowadays is definetely KC REACTION (gone in 60 seconds)
For me it would have to be Christian Dior's Eau Sauvage, Lorenzo Villoresi's Uomo. I always have an atomizer of Christian Dior's Bois D' Argent in my messenger bag for emergencies.

When I cant decide, I usually go for

Gendarme

Totally inoffensive, even if you cake it on. I can't imagine using too much of this. I think I am going through it faster than anything I've owned!
Mugler Cologne these days. It's easy to grab this bottle when I can't decide because it's so large and stands out -- plus I really like the scent.
Gotta be L'Eau d'Issey PH, or Paul Smith Extreme.
Coriolan or maybe GIT
For me it would be Aimez Moi, if I weren't conserving my decant until I can get more...this one has consistently made me feel wonderful - it feels like me.

Zizanie (always makes me feel as if I were an 18th century marquis waiting for his sedan chair to take him off to some court fête); or Armani Code if I'm in a prowly mood.
Something I like a lot that I haven't worn in a long time!
i can always appreciate michael kors or gucci ph

"Smalto." Just Smalto. Vastly underrated scent; rarely discussed; perfect all the time.
Usually whatever Bulgari scent seems most appropriate at the time. Saying that, I've developed a close affinity to L'Eau d'Hiver by Malle this last month.
I didn't like it so much at first, but Davidoff Echo is really growing on me for this purpose. I'm starting to see it as the perfect sort of just plain, inoffensive, fresh, pleasent scent which suits day to day wearing. I like the synthetic nature to it as well.
I'd go with Gucci Envy

Whatever my hand grabs among the multitude of fragrances is what I wear on any given day.
nothing! It's nice to take a break from fragrance for a couple days. Breaks make it more exciting when I wear them again!
I usually decide the night before, but on those occasions that I get up and just want to go in a different direction it is Santala Noble.
