Dolce & Gabbana pour Homme ok for summer nights?

Turns out I don't have any real "night" fragrance and I want one. Been wanting to buy D&GpH for a while now, but in case it's not suited, suggest me something else please?

D&G pour homme is totally okay for both summer nights and days.
It works great in resort heart and clubs if that's what you're looking for.

Another good thing is the fragrance is really noticeable, and you can smell it on yourself all the time, which to me is important as well.

It's a great choice for a summer night, although I actually tend to wear it more it cooler weather. D&G PH is actually quite versatile. However, I would avoid it on the hottest or most humid days or in any situation where you'll be sweating (dancing, etc.) because it's richness can become choking very easily. Use a light trigger finger with this one - it is rather potent IMO.

It's very suitable for the night yes, if you're still not too comfortable, give Boucheron PH EDP a try.!

I agree that D&G PH is suitable for summer nights. I feel it's notes lend themselves easily to both day and night.

Back when I owned D&G PH I loved wearing it during the summer nights but couldn't wait to wear it in the fall/winter. Then when it got to be fall/winter, I realized that I liked wearing it duirng the summer more! It's a great one for warmer weather, surprisingly enough.

I get mostly fresh citrus out of this one. Very lemony. Is this in keeping with what you have all experienced?

This frag is PERFECT for summer nights.
You also try Bvlagri for men. That's my fav nighttime frag.

D&G should be great for hot, steamy brazilian nights (sorry if that's a cliche). I would also try Terre d'Hermès in that environment, it's more mature, earthy, but very citrusy as well.

Yes it's perfect for summer nights. I think this scent was inspired by Sicily. If you've been to Sicily, it's all about the lemon groves and the Mediterranean!

Are we talking about Dolce & Gabbana pour homme or D&G pour homme here?

D&G is lemmony, young smelling and the Dolce & Gabbana is the spicy, sweet tobacco one.

D&G is the shorter way of saying Dolce& Gabbana hence D&G PH an Dolce& Gabbana PH are the same frag. You must be thinking of D&G Masculin which is the younger sporty one.

In that case, hmm,.. I think the pour homme can be worn in warmer climates but I have to admit I even wore M7 (original) in summer.

I think Paco Rabonne XS can work well at night, but its better in the day time.

D&G is perfect for that situation. No doubt about it. Lemons and tobacco. Near perfect longevity and sillage as well. A+ in my book.

Thanks for all the feedback, I went out and bought it. Love it.

Now... how many spritz should I wear? I'm a heavy spritzer, I always do like 6-7 of almost everything (even CK Eternity) and sometimes people can't detect it after one hour. Dry, dry skin.

I agree with the little goes a long way comment. On me it would become intense in the summer. In fact I've pretty much given up on this one. My wife loves it but I can't get past the tobacco. Anyone interested can visit my swap list.

I have come around on D&G PH! I am now a believer. Earlier today, I took a quick dart into the local department store and smelled various scents on offer. D&G PH was one of those that simply blew me away. Excellent, definitely a four or five star perfume!

If you're going to a club I'd say no more than 4 spritz. I usually wear 2 because it's a strong cologne and people will detect it after one hour.
