i have recently purchased this fragrance and really enjoyed the fresh minty smell at first but i have become too aware of the smell on my own skin whilst wearing it and it has even started giving me a headache and at worst, making me feel a little sick. has anyone else encountered a similar problem with this fragrance. i am not sure i can now wear it any longer. i do find that i can very develop a dislike for a fragrance i initially loved, again have others had similar experiences

I think mint can be tricky...can seem deliciously different at first but then difficult to live with in scents?

Well, I tried Pasha some time ago and It seemed to be a great formal scent! Unfortunately I didn't do a full test (during all day) and some friends adviced me to take care, because its fresh smell would turn drastically to an ambery smell that isn't for everyone. They recommended me the Menthe verson, but the unconfortable feeling seems to be happening with you...

I think it's one of the great mint scents. I am not a huge fan of mint in scents because they can be either too fake and sweet or too bitter and intense and can overpower the rest of the notes in a fraggrance, but here the mint is very comfortable to be with, almost light but constant, and the longevity varies from so-so to bad depending on skin type, the drydown is very fresh also, but less so than the drydown and yes, there is some amber that i love, felt simple and uncomplicated but still classy enough.

cheers

Actually I've had similar experiences wearing it. It starts out smelling pretty good, but after awhile I'll start feeling a little nauseous. I have no idea what's the cause of it. Weird.

I'm kind of wierd in that I think the original was actually more minty and had more siliage too. Go figure.

As an alternative why not try Booster from Lacoste.
It´s somewhat difficult to get hold of, maybe even discontinued, but it´s a fantastic fragrance. Theres mint in it and lots of eucalyptus, but it´s a very natural fragrance.
