It is indeed lovely! A full bottle has to be added to my wardrobe before Christmas... (but so has bottles of Chergui, L'Homme Sage, Loukhoum, Fumerie Turque, Musc Ra...). It doesn't last very long though, but I don't really think it matters much when the drydown and it's leftovers smells so extraordinary good! When I asked Luckyscent what the differences are between the EdT and the room spray I got this answer from Franco:

Well, the signature Costes scent is of an interesting concept: the candle, EDP and the room spray all differ slightly in the composition (on purpose). Many customers of ours wear the room spray; it is a little more woodsy (sandalwood) and has less of a ‘rose’ note than the EDP. Typically room sprays are more concentrated than EDP. I’m pretty sure Olivia is responsible for the entire line. Personally, I like the room spray on myself, it is more masculine and really beautiful.

Thinking about the not so long lasting EdT I would still probably choose it over the room spray because of the comment about lack of roses in it. One of my favorite parts of the EdT.

Serge Lutens - Fumerie Turque for me today!

Creed Original Santal

Lately, I have been getting a spice note from this - a mix of cinnamon and coriander. Any one else notice this ?

Middle Notes: Nutmeg, Pimento, Oakmoss, Tobacco, Jasmine, Leather
Base Notes: Sandalwood, Patchouli, Cedar, Incense

I don't see it in the notes above, but what a terrific prominent rose note! Really luxurious and manly and dark overall scent. A bit at odds with my jeans, boots and old worn in polo shirt today, but somehow the whole ensemble is really working for me.

Perry Ellis 360 White. Very much like Le Male, but I like it better. It's less sharp and imposing. Smoother and low key. Just more "wearable".

Tomorrow night is our Christmas Gala at work. Creed Original Santal will be the choice.
