Creed's SMW & MI- Similar?

The reason I ask is because i received a sample of SMW and, to me at least, it smells very similar to Millesime Imperial. Maybe somehow there was a mix-up with the samples or my sense of smell is not experianced enough to tell them apart...thoughts?

It's been said that SMW tends to open with a berry note, while MI has more of a watermelon one.

Which part of the produce stand you feel like your'e standing in upon smelling your sample?

They are somewhat similar, but MI is slightly more aquatic and SMW has a very strong, sweet currant note (sweet, articifial smelling berry note) that sets it apart. Other than that those differences though, I can definately see the similarities.

No they are not similar. Or rather, they are similar in the way that creed's in general are similar: Many Creeds are "green", many (like MI and SMW) share the same house note in the base, some of the citris notes are shared among their aquas, etc. SMW smells really different, in short because of the tea and "ink" note. I would never confuse the two, not for a second. I don't think an inexperienced person would either. You should get two samples and try them side by side, you'll see right away if you haven't been slipped the wrong sample. Trust me, even my mom would tell right away. Good luck, hope you haven't been cheated.
