Time for the final stats in 2006, 'ere we go, fellow nerdettes and nerds!

Most worn in December:
10\tHeure Exquise
4\tArabie, Hiris
3\tEau de Charlotte, Ormonde
2\tAngel, Eau du Ciel, Pink Sugar, Poivre, Wood Coffee

This was a month of irises and Gourmands.

Most worn in fourth quarter:
11\tDzongkha
10\tHeure Exquise
7\tPoivre Piquant
5\tBois Farine, Cologne Mûre et Musc
4\tArabie, Chypre Rouge, Hiris, Jour de Fête, Mûre et Musc Extrême

November was exclusively a L'Artisan month and it shows here!

Most worn in 2006
22\tHeure Exquise
15\tBois Farine
14\tEau de Charlotte
12\tDzongkha, AG Passion
11\tEncens et Lavande, Loukhoum
10\tFolavril, Jicky
9\tLa Myrrhe

Heure Exquise was clearly Scent of the Year, but I was thrilled to see Bois Farine so high here, I seem to wear it quite regularly, no great peaks or binges but in the long run it's one of my top scents. Eau de Charlotte is another staple.

Houses
83\tLArtisan
69\tAnnick Goutal
67\tSerge Lutens
34\tGuerlain
26\tEtro
25\tComme des Garçons
19\tCaron
12\tLes Parfums de Rosine
11\tKeiko Mecheri

This year I found L'Artisan again and it shows here. Annick Goutal and Serge Lutens fare well every year.

Thanks for sharing your stats this year, keeping the new ones start tomorrow! Cheers and Happy New Year!

Most worn in December 2006:
Mitsouko\t5
Fracas\t4
Douce Amere\t2
Chypre Rouge\t2
Jicky\t2
Narcisse Noir \t2
A la Nuit\t2

Most worn in the last three months:
(I have only got the stats for the last 3 months, as I am still a newbie here)
Aroma Calm \t6 (it is my bedtime scent, therefore more counts)
Jicky\t6
Fracas\t5
Jolie Madame \t5
Mitsouko\t5
Floret\t4
Madison Soiree\t4
Opium Fleur de Shanghai\t4
Champs Elysees\t3
Chypre Rouge\t3
Fleurs d'Oranger\t3
Le Male\t3

Interestingly, I have used a total of 74 different scents in the last 3 months, of which 52 of them received only single application. Only a few were twice applied. The dominated house would have to be Guerlain, and the stats also proved that my love for Fracas and Floret have never changed (they still ranked within the top 10 on my list). With this usage rate, I wondered what to do with all those "single applied" scent, as they don't seem to catch my attention like the others do. It would be good if someone give me some advice on scent rotation or a 2007 scent strategy.

Thanks Tigs for starting this statistics, it is good fun to work with my excel spreadsheet as well as the pivot table. Is there a good way to keep the stats so that we won't need to recalculate it at each month's end?

Cheers, have a lovely new year.

I am not writing every days frag, but looking at my bottles tells what I used during 2006:

SLP Lovely - finnished a 30 mL bottle, have used one third of the next 30 mL.
Armani City Glam - have finnished a 30 mL bottle - will not get this one again.
Cristobal by Balenciaga - have used half of a 50 mL bottle.
Prada - have used three quarters of a 30 mL bottle.
Roma - have used half of a 30 mL bottle.
YSL Rive Gauche - have used half of a 30 mL bottle.
Valentino V - have used half of a 30 mL bottle. This one I used a lot this summer.
J del Pozo In Black - have used half of a 30 mL bottle.
Infiniment Chopard - have used half of a 30 mL bottle.
Miss Dior Chérie - have used one third of a 50 mL bottle.
Le Baiser du Dragon - got this one quite resently, have used one quarter of a 30 mL bottle.

For all the other bottles there is more left than three quarters of the liquid.

If I count on this, I used about 230 mL this year... As I used my other bottles, I did use a little more. Perhaps I have used 270 mL. This is good for me to know for future buyings... 270 mL is nine 30 mL bottles, no more...

Hooray for Etro making the most-worn list. For anyone who hasn't tried this house yet, there is much to offer. Start with Dianthus (their sunny, orange and carnation fragrance, and their first scent aimed especially at women.) Then look into to Sandalo, Messe de Minuit, Ambra, Shaal Nur, and Etra. These are the ones I've tried, and they are all good. This house uses quality ingredients and turns its back on trendiness in favor of substance in their creations.

December looked pretty typical for me, with four scents that repeated during the month: Angel, Fumerie Turque, Ambre Sultan, and Bandit. Everything else was a single wearing.

I also test-drove two new-to-me scents: Ligea "La Sirena" and VIP Room Signature.

Most worn in December:
Prada 3 times (but probably more since I wear perfume to bed)
Lolita Lempicka 3 times (again, I wear it to bed a lot)
Nuit de Noel 5 times (not surprisingly, I guess)
Poivre 2 times

Plus many, many samples

In the 4th quarter:

Prada 5 times
Lolita Lempicka 4 times
Nuit de Noel 5 times
Trouble 3 times (but much more than that, really)
Black Cashmere 3 times
Datura Noir 3 times
Bois Farine 4 times
all the LesNez 3 times
Cashmere Mist 3 times
Pierre de Lune 3 times
Iris Silver Mist 3 times

This, as I said, isn't really reflective of what I really favour, because I often change my fragrance at night and when I go to bed.

My favourites are (in somewhat descending order):

Prada
Jicky
Bois Farine
Lolita Lempicka
Mitsouko

Serge Lutens
Guerlain
Caron
Dior
Donna Karan
L'Artisan
Chanel

The bottles that I reached for the most in December were:

SL Daim Blond (it reminds me of my wedding)
AP Maitresse (it reminds me of my honeymoon)
McQueen MyQueen (it's a lovely winter scent, warm and constant, and the vanilla and violets get me stupid numbers of compliments).

Other than that, McQueen Kingdom, Ormonde Jayne Champaca and L'artisan Jour de Fete have been my most frequent perfumes in 2006.
