I know very well Noir Epices, Musc Ravageur, Bigarade Concentree and Vetiver Extraordinaire; I like a lot (the first two the most - fantastic!!).

But what about En Passant, Lys Mediterranee, Carnal Flower, Fleur De Cassie, Iris Poudre, Une Rose...? There is something interesting, brilliant, enjoyable here for a man?

I think they are all (except Lys Mediterranee - never tried it) wearable for men. Especially Une Rose, Carnal Flower and En Passant (after it dries down).

Iris Poudre starts out very much on the feminine side. As it dries it becomes much more unisex.

Cassie, IMO, does just the opposite. It becomes more feminine after the dry down. But, because this is one of the most unique fragrances around, it has to at least be sampled by every scent connoisseur.

Carnal Flower is breathtaking. IMO, its one of the most amazing fragrances ever created. Words fail me.

I am interested in hearing others thoughts about LM as well. I've actually been very curious about this one lately.

Out these, I have only tried Carnal Flower. A very well made fragrance, I believe it can be easily worn by a man. It features an usual note of coconut in its composition wrapped around a high quality but very well behaved tuberose note. The tuberose is always there, but it never screams like as in Fracas.

Frederic Malle said that his aim with Carnal Flower was to unseat Fracas as the best tuberose fragrance created - I have tried both, and I prefer Carnal Flower's restrained but sublime tuberose performance over Fracas's loud tuberose. But there are also plenty of women for whom Fracas still rules. Eitherways, if I were to buy a bottle of a Frederic Malle fragrance, Carnal Flower would be it.

Yeah, Edouard Flechier's Lys Mediterranee, me too. Any opinion?

I've been getting into Une Rose lately. It's pricey, but like Carnal Flower would be worth it. I like to compare it with L'Artisan's Voleur de Roses by more intense and had better longevity on me. Check it out: Une Rose by Edouard Flechier for Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle.

Une Rose is very much wearable by a man...its VERY strong though, a little goes a long way. Carnal Flower is also very unisex, very coconutty and also pretty potent. Cassie is okay...not for me, but very nice. The opening notes are very floral and a bit fecal even...interesting. En Passant is light and beautifully composed. I rarely think that most fragrances in this relm of quality are unsuitable for either sex...I've yet to have anyone comment to me that I smelled like a woman.

Une Rose - the best rose I've smelled. Very strong, very long lasting, not cloying, not oily, but dry, sharp, like red wine
