today i wore prada man....
i love that scent
but when a friend of mine sat next to me ....she asked me "do you smell something like laudry detergent? i swear someone washed their clothes in here"
any worst happenings?

I was wearing Mark Birley when a female coworker asked if she smelled gasoline or oil in the room. I sold it the next week, even if she was wrong!

SMW. A lady I work with said "someone smells amazing, but feminine, just so you know". Happily no one paid much attention to it.

well this one bears repeating when I had layered too many things a guy at my gym said "It smells like Elizabeth Taylor exploded in here!" of course this overapplication and bad layering (as it really was) is a very rare occurence!

Hi Squirrelmilk,

it happened to me the same thing wearing Knize Ten! A cooworker commented about a laundry detergent smell.

To such comments from tasteless people usually I reply: "Better to smell like laundry detergent then caproic acid (read rancid sweat)".

This stops any further comment. Guaranteed!

If it's funny like that, who could be hurt! All other examples are rather tough. Thats the difference in Europe: I never get criticized, but sometimes miss a compliment!

its been bout a year now,anywayz I oversprayed armani code. I received my first compliment followed by this woman saying `dammm somethin smells like bug spray`.there were several people around and they knew it was
me with that scent. since then I've only worn it once. flee
