The second half of my other thread "Final Recommendations", found here- http://community.basenotes.net/showt...734#post961734. This one groups fragrances that are not so highly regarded but are still respectable summer fragrances, suitable for young men like myself (early 20's). Most were also recommended to me by Basenotes members and are quite easy to get in my country, unlike M7 Fresh (no more recommendations please).

My criteria is as follows:

1) Most appropriate for a warm climate with temperatures between 24-33C (75-92F). High humidity, tropical environment.
2) Excellent longevity and sillage (from your experience).
3) Not "worn by the crowd", so to speak.

My selections are in the poll above, so don't forget to vote. You can also list your top picks in your post.

Bulgari's Aqua gets my strong vote in this poll. The others are either too sweet, non-descript, or just plain trivial to compete. All just my opinion, of course.

Nice contribution wicozani.

A friendly reminder not to base your votes on scent, but on longevity and sillage. We all have varying tastes and what one member might absolutely hate, another member may simply love.

Aqua is your only choice! Just my opinion.

I would say that Allure Sport, Chrome and Aqua are much more commonly smelled in a crowd than the others. I was on the subway once and I smelled two people in the same car wearing Chrome.

Thus I would go for Givenchy Blue Label. A nice and fresh aquatic scent with good sillage. Longevity would be comparable to Allure Sport and will definitely last longer than Chrome.

Lacoste Essential probably has the worst longevity out of all the fragrances in the poll.

Have tried all of these except for Dune, and Blue Label is the best at what you're looking for.

Seems like Dune PH is the least used here. I wonder how it compares with the rest.

Anyway, keep those votes coming in!
