It's dark, bitterly cold and FEMINITE du BOIS is calling from my

dressing table."Choose me!"

" I hear you, oh dark, voluptous one.

Come cloak me in your warm embrace."

Welcome, Chardonnay!

Riannon, if you are a lemming, then lemming-hood is a career goal for most of us! Isn't Idole de Lubin an absolute stunner? I saved for months and bought myself a bottle as my holiday/New Year's gift to myself in January...

But today, I'm back to wanting to re-visit the classic beauty of Chanel's Coco.. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm....

Fabulous Tuesday, one and all!

I'm about to crawl off to bed in L'Artisan's Passage d'Enfer. It seemed appropriate after spending a good part of my evening sipping wine and having a rousing debate with myself about theology.

Back at ya OBB - since I am in the same situation with the Creed Jasmine Imperatrice of which you sent me a sample.

"Based on the formula of a fragrance originally created in the 19th century for the Empress Eugenie of France. An aristocratic blend of citrus top notes over a rich heart of Italian jasmine and Bulgarian rose and a warm powdery base of sandalwood and super absolute of vanilla." From the Creed web site.

I mean YOU KNOW how much I love jasmine and roses and this lady may nudge - nay! shove - my Fleurs de Bulgarie right off the shelf. A wonderful cloud in which to sweep forth and conquer this cold bright day!!

L'instant de Guerlain; it is a "snowy", white, scent for me; with a cold warmth.
I like to wear it on a day like this; freezing cold; lots of snow and sun.
Just perfect.

Today I wore CSP Vanille Abricot. It seems that it took freezing cold days for me to wear sweet vanilla fragrances again. For the longest time I just couldn't stomach them. Too sweet and foody and I just didn't want them. But lately, they're delicious again.
