Have a wonderful Wednesday, everyone!

Mitsouko

I know this is a chypre but I got a very strong leather note to this when I sprayed it on this morning. This is a mystery to me.

Switched to Serge Lutens - Clair De Musc in the evening

Specially for my OBB Taolady I am dressed in:

Creed's Jasmin Impératrice Eugenie

I am ready for the spring :bounce:

Wonderful Wednesday to you all!

Good morning Basenoters!
Following tig's and coconut's house of choice, I'm wearing the original Guet-Apens today. Am I the only one smelling a touch of Shalimar in there?

Oh, I liked that one, tigs!

I´m wearing my beloved Parfum Bespoke (Ozwald Boateng) today. Is it just me who likes this one on the board?

Snow and -3 degrees C here today.

I'm sitting here having my coffee ( it's 5:23 am !) before I head off to work and I am thinking I will wear Lolita Lempicka L today. I work in very close proximity with people so I have to be somewhat conservative with my fragrance choices. Have a great Wednesday!

Today was an Opium EDT day and before too long ill be heading off to bed with Red Door. Good night all.
It's freezing cold but sunny here in London today, so I figured it was safe to road-test Hypnotic Poison. It's rather in your face, even though I only have the EDT. Liking it though.

I've gone for broke today with lovely, lovely, Bellogia by Caron. One of the all-time greats. I'm so lucky that all the Caron fragrances I've tried thus far have worked for me. Bellogia is keeping me afloat today.

Thanks to a mothering Wolf I am in Bulgarie Blu (enough already with the "v"s) today. For me a nicely balanced blend of Acacia, wisteria and flax flowers... with some woods and musk and.....GINGER!! The latter gives it an upbeat perkiness. Pretty way to spend this warming-up day (going to the 50's F) at the beach.

(Would be heading for the edge of the cliff in Jasmine Imperatrice but I USED UP ALL THE SAMPLE, OBB! So - many thanks for the source tip. :bounce

Wearing Serge Lutens La Myrrhe. Warm and sunny here today but the cold front is pushing from the North.

It's been bitter cold in NYC for the last 3 days in a row and I am fading like a flower in frost. Not fun. But I am testing Balenciaga Talisman thanks to an angelic BNer and I love it! Creamy and delicate, like an embrace. Looking up the notes presently!

My big box of smellies came in from Parfum1.com I'm wearing my new Fracas edp.
BTW he has the 3.4oz bee bottle of Chant d'Aromes for $38.95 plus there is a free shipping coupon for orders over $35 on the homepage. I'm NOT affiliated at all, I just think that's a great deal. I've noticed Chant d'Aromes is becoming a rarity these days

And I could not get these words out of my head and this afternoon I discovered I was humming them softly
At last: I got it. Oh Tigs, I had almost forgotten this song and it is so great! You could join Twolf with her Teasers.

For you all, go to http://www.rogerwatersonline.com/Art...ics/Jacky.html
and sing: "Still I would sing my song to me, about the time they called me "Jacky"

I don't think I will ever use Jicky again without hearing "Jacky" in my head

Oh no, unlike Twolf I'm lousy both at making up and solving riddles.

Scott Walker's version is my favourite (of the English versions, that is). I love Marc Almond's voice but his music is sometimes a bit overproduced.

"Cute, cute, cute in a stupid-ass way"

I'm sampling Je Reviens in edc, and I'm loving it.

We have -22 C here... brrrrrr.

I like Bespoke, but have only tested it.

Mais oui, Jacky is one of Jacques Brel's finest.

Cristobal bodylotion and Chanel No 19 EdP for this day. This did work! A gentle oriental and a gentle flower-green. Yummy!

How nice to read a line of a song that I connect with Jaques Brel! I adore Brel!

Cabochard says "Don't ____ with me!" or Operor non perago mihi. (That's probably waaay off...)

I had Musc Ravageur on the menu for today, wanting to stay with Maurice Roucel for a week! What was I thinking? I am not a faithful woman; I cannot stick with Lutens for a week, or Gurelain, or much less anything else... I know, I know, I need to be watched . Carefully watched!

But, when Prada purrs and sings to me, no one else better stand in the way , come to think of it, it was Prada like an enchantress, a singing Siren, that persuaded me to abandon Lutens during his big week! So Prada it is for me, on this cold cold day of what feels like -20°C.

DH is wearing his Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin.

For the cold eve, I wear Cabochard.
Rose Barbare today -- a true, fresh rose with good lasting power and a bit of chypre in the dry down.
L'instant...I'm trying tu use it up; so that I can start buying decants with a clear conscience. Hoping my " neighbor" Musse will advise me in what to try first.
