This weekend im due on a 2nd date with a well mannered young lady..

Im 35 and she is 24.. The hardest work is now out of the way.. So...

I would like to make a good impression with a nice scent when i next see her..

We are going to a nightclub and i will be dressing smart but casual!!

These are the choices i have in mind..

What are your suggestions on which ONE would be most appropiate...

I like them all!!

M7
ALLURE
D&G PH
L'INSTANT
GUCCI ENVY
JAZZ
TERRE D HERMES
OBSESSION
PLATINUM EGOISTE
UNGARO III

I would definitely go with either D&G, Obsession or L'Instant if you'd like to smell sedductive

Platinum is really a scent of class, nevertheless it smells a bit chill for that occasion.
Envy and Fahrenheit are both great as well, but they could seem harsh to the lady.
So, yes, I think D&G, L'Instant and Obsession would be the safest and the best choices!

I personally would use L'Instant.

Good luck

A judicial application of M7 would be perfect.

Deck89 - go with TERRE D'HERMES!

Girls LOVE this stuff (I know that is a sweeping generalization...but in my experience it has been true!). Every single girl I have spoken to about this scent loves it (which doesn't really do anything for me, since I'm gay).

Good luck on the 2nd date! And please, post a follow up thread next week, after the date!

L'Instant for sure.

What did you wear on your first rendez-vous? Any reactions?

Do you expect her to become "un-mannered" as the evening progresses?

Her mode of dress? Preferred cocktail? Prudish? Blood type?

Haha! On those last ones anyway. i can be a bit of a jokester, so don't pay too much attention to me (unless you wanna).

Compliments on the age range.

Anyway, i'm sure you'll get lots of good answers from others, gotta run!

TdH or D&G PH

What did you ware on the first date? Also anything you can share about her would be of help.

Have fun man, till recently I always had a 7-9 year age gap with my dates. Thinking back, go with what compliments you and what your wearing.

Put on a very small layer of Fahrenheit three hours before you meet her, and then one standard about an hour and a half before. In my experience, it's the drydown that women love with this stuff, and so you'll want it to last a while, but not be so strong that they pass out

Envy, applied sparingly.

Any of these ones can be worn: L'Instant, Envy and M7.
L'Instant would be my first choice, but girls love Envy, specially the younger ones. If you decide to wear M7, just remember to spray 30min-1h before going out, because some people have problems with its initial harsh notes. The drydown is superb though.
Obsession is another favourite of mine and I'd advice you to wear it, but I declined because she's young and maybe she thinks its an old fashioned fragrance (or even associates it with the smell of her father and all the other cliches about the older scents)

If you go out Clubbing M7 or Envy will last the Club as in longevity....

Just smelled Envy... go with that.

I would tend to go with something both low risk and nice. The truth be told you are more likely to drive off someone with a bad fragrance choice then get someone with a good fragrance choice. M7, tends to be someone bipolar in that some people love it but others hate it so I would avoid it until later in the relationship. I'm not familiar with all of the different options but of the ones I am familiar with I would suggest:

Envy - for an upbeat romantic mood
UNGARO III - also very romantic but with a darker/mysterious edge
FAHRENHEIT - has more youth appeal

Any of these three would be both good and safe choices. Personally I would go with Ungaro III but that plays in with my personality on dates.

We need to know about this girl to make better judgements here. Knowing nothing, I'd say L'Instant...it's pretty easy to like in general.

If she's adventurous and spicy, Fahrenheit.

If she's playful and fresh, TdH or Ungaro III

If she's mysterious and sensual, M7 or Envy

My impression of the OP in the manner in which he represents himself is that he is relatively traditional or at least well mannered. He sounds like someone who has already learned of the finer things in life (younger women). Due to the age difference, I'd guess there is a strong physical attraction between the two and something that stays somewhat subdued until things heat up would work magically....Obsession, I'd put one spray on my chest and share one spray on my wrists an hour or 2 before I picked up my date.

I think that's about 4 cents worth

I vote for Envy from your selection. It is a mature but youthful scent, versatile enough for most occasions.

Let us know how it goes!

Go with Envy. Sensual and classy. Enough sillage for clubbing, but not suffocating.

YES, I agree. Women of all ages have stopped me to inquire about TdH.
