Creeds Tabarome Millésime  ComDiva.

I tried this yesterday layered with MDCI's Ambre Topkapi, but I really think I will have to judge the Creed first on its own before more layering experiments.

As usual, running before I can walk

Have a great Sunday!!

It's another Creed here namely Cuir de Russie. Oh and I'm in love with it :-)

Wishing a great day to you all,

Riannon, I was testing Tabarome Millésime this morning. I got some samples from the retailer who sold me the L'Artisan yesterday.
I am sorry to say that Tabarome Millésime didn't work for me. It smells like nail polish remover on my skin.

I have generously splashed Eau D'Ivoire de Balmain and getting ready to meet a friend for an espresso.

Going to a exhibition finissage - contemporary paintings from my district of Norway. Another day of Gucci edp.

For the afternoon:
Cristobal, a rather gentle sweet warm oriental layerd with Prada, a dark and dry oriental (at least on my skin). The result - yes, it is really nice, the two frags gets into another and a third frag is born, with the gentle sweetnes of Cristobal and with the darkness of Prada.

l'inspiratrice from Divine! { Riannon!)All rosy, peony patchouli - with some green (vetiver?) and a touch of vanilla and I think my beloved Tonka. Divine indeed!!
I´m wearing Eau de Merveilles today. I think it will be better for spring, though, with the light citrus and cedar.

Hope you are all having a great Sunday!

:bounce:

On this misty, rainy Sunday I'm wearing Susanne Lang's Cashmere (thanks Anna!). Spicy and ambery like Obsession and Anné Pliska, but much lighter and more wearable.

Odeur 71 by Comme de Garcons

Playful Sunday - wearing Coco Mlle for the day.

Now, it's Oscar night tonight, so hmmmm, maybe Gucci Eau de Parfum, or... Insolence, or.... Vol de nuit???? It's tough making decisions.
BrothaG and Riannon... You both smell divine!

Coconut, so sorry the Tabarome Milliseme didn't work for you! I'd encourage you to give it another try sometime (maybe in warmer weather when the ginger will be refreshing and the tobacco leaf has a chance to warm up to the surface), but I can definitely see where there is the potential for nail polish notes in there

Today I am testing Le Sirenuse Sienne l'Hiver . Oh no, oh no, I REALLY like this! Don't these perfumers know that most of us are on a budget?!? Honestly, you'd think they'd have the courtesy to delay releasing beautiful fragrances until I can afford them.

Top note : Geranium, Violet Leaf, Ferns

Middle note : Oliban, Truffe Blanche, Olive Noire, Iris, Mimosa

Base note : Saintwood, Papyrus, Cedar,Straw,Benzoin, Labdanum,White Musk

Have a marvelous Sunday, everyone!

Wearing one of the gems of my collection, Aimez Moi. I would wear this more often, but I find I am protective of it, I love it so much. It's deep warmth is perfect for Sunday at home.

Current favorites: Eugenie, En Avion, Coco, Chanel no. 19, Sa Majeste la Rose

Sampling ...

Think I'm building a synapse for violette, thanks to Bois de Violette.

Tried Joop for the first time. It should be layered with insulin, it's so sweet. For the first time I understand the toy doll reference some make about certain frags. Moondeva says she smells a boozy quality in Joop, but I find myself in the attic sniffing one of my baby dolls with the hard plastic body and softer rubber/plastic head. Hmmm.

This is SO interesting! Any pix or story anywhere? Is "finissage" like "vernissage" where you got to see the paintings before they were varnished?? SO interesting! :bounce:

Wearing L'Arte de Gucci. I suppose it is OK to stretch the forthcoming chypre day into the whole week, isn't it?

So inspired by this thread, that I also took my sample of Taberome. OMG, it's wonderful!!
Oh gosh, I had to laugh when I saw church and CK One on the same line.

I haven't smelled it in ages, but I'm one of those who found it smelled like sex. I actually liked it at first sniff (if I correctly remember that long ago), so it could well be a chemistry thing.

I'm wearing the lovely, sweet, homely SL Un Bois de Vanille.
The word finissage was new to me before I saw in the newspaper yesterday Taolady. Apparently it meant the last day of the show; the painters were there, to discuss their works and talk about art in general. We were offered coffee; at vernissage there is always wine...so I think I'll prefere them for the future.

Going to bed like Marilyn Monroe in Chanel no 5...and that's it.
Just kidding...it's too cold for that.

See ya tomorrow!
