Musc Ravageur - Daily wear or special occasion fragrance?

Thread Starter
First I apologize for starting a new thread on Musc Ravageur just half a day after adressing a first question to the forum.

Now I have been wondering wether one could wear this on a regular basis ("signature") or not. What would you say (if the aspect of its costs were out of consideration): A special fragrance it is, indeed. But use this special fragrance only on special occasions?

I'm looking forward to hear your opinions.

Musc Ravageur MAKES the occsasion special by it's presence.

I would never hesitate to wear it anytime the mood struck.

If it works on you and you enjoy it then by all means wear it every day. It sadly doesn't quite work on me, so I can't.

Then again, considering the cost maybe that's a plus...

I can not think of any reason not to wear any scent that you enjoy wearing. Musc Ravageur being an oil is a problem though because of the possibilities for stains. I've sampled it and didn't think it was so great.

I don't have the Musc Ravageur OIL, but I do have the EDP. I wear it almost every day. It's fabulously sensual.

I think it's a very fine fragrance. Musks are not what I want to wear on
a daily basis, so I'd reserve if for more special occasions, but wear it
whenever you enjoy doing so. It's a top-of-the-line musk.

Special occasions only, yes -- particularly those that end up with Yours Truly romping in the sack.

Two words: Carpe Diem

Although this post will be quite similar to another one I posted today, I will repeat myself.

Our days are limited and there are so many amazing fragrances out there...
If you enjoy MR, my suggestion would be that to wear it as much as possible. Why leave something desirable to another day which may never come...

I wear it by cold weather only and I can never wear it more than three days straight.
as much as I love Musc Ravageur except for its androgynous top notes it 's very sweet and powdery, if I wear it too much or if I sprayed too much I 'm suffocating so after that I usually end up craving for something very green and natural like Sous le Buis by Gobin Daude.

I think it's a little 'hubba hubba' for 'the office', personally. But then I like to wear it best on warm nights and not in the cold.

I stopped in Barneys on my way to a Symrise party tonight. Sprayed my wrists with Musc Ravageur and went off to the party. When I got there I saw that Symrise is the producer of Musc Ravageur. I grabbed the display tester and sprayed some more on and then mingled. The scent is beautiful. It starts out a bit 'sexy', but then it turns into a nice and in-offensive, musty back burner. I would'nt think twice about wearing this one day-in and day-out. Really, no big woop - just a great frag.
Cheers.
