Help need alternative to Dolce & Gabbana pour Homme

I am looking for an alternative to Dolce & Gabbana pour Homme that I can wear anytime. I really like DG pour Homme, my girlfriend loves it, but it is more of a night out scent. I'm looking for something close but can be more versatile and lighter.

Is there anything similar? Any suggestions?

Try Egoiste (not Platinum).

From a similar 'family' - tanginess drying down to something more sweet and woody. Similar strength and sillage - ie lots.

More versatile?

hmmm maybe you might want to try Boucheron's PH EDT, or even the lighter Yardley's English Fine Cologne.

Both i like very much, and find them very versatile and at the same time classy.

Versace Dreamer has some similar properties. I don't know if you will think it is more casual. Check it out

I second this! You have to wait it out til it settles on your skin, though. The topnotes are a bit bizzare. All a means to an end, though!

YSL L'homme, CANALI, Dunhill for men (2003)

In addition to these excellent suggestions, I would throw in Ralph Lauren's Safari, if you haven't tried it. It has some similar properties to my nose.

There's no scent out there that more closely resembles D & G PH that "Balman" by Balmain. Little known and little discussed. I like it better.

I am pretty sure the Ocean Pacific Blend is D&G without tobacco. . .other than that it is EXACTLY the same. . .if you like D&G you will like OP Blend. You may also want to try some of the others in the OP range which have similar attributes.
