Fahrenheit 32

Just smelled this today, and am impressed enough to bother posting (as opposed to other new releases YSL L'Homme, RSVP, Zegna Intenso... which don't rate a mention).

I wore Fahrenheit for a year or two about 8-10 years ago, got through 1/3 bottle, and lost the rest. I prefer this newer version, for it is at once cleaner / fresher, but also more focussed and intense.

As I smelled it, several other frags started to jump in my mind. The sharp lavender of Gris Clair, the petroleum note of the original Fahrenheit and Bvlgari Black, and a sweeter note like Chergui, some greeness / ginger / tobacco like Tabarome Millesime too. I've dropped a couple of big names there, and i'm not trying to say it is exactly like any of them, they are just things that popped into my mind as I sniffed.

I'm thinking I quite like this one, would like a sample to trial it for a week before I make my final decision.

A white bottle same shape as original.

Smelled it in David Jones in humble Brisbane, Australia. Maybe we are a test market?

I like the new bottle design one hundred times better. The clear bottle is so much cooler. If you look at my 'drobe icon, you'll bet I want to try this bad. I do.

I've just tried this one today and found it to be VERY similar to Geir. I really can't see myself buying this.

I smelled it yesterday (Germany, Munich). The longitivty is great. It is fresh, but nothing special. Smells like Lacoste "Cool Play"...is nothing like Serge Lutens Chergui or some other niche scent...i would never buy this fragrance. I´m saving my money for better quality fragrances like (Virgin Island Water).

This is a lighter, watered down version of the new Le Fleur du Male.
Both share a prominenet Orange blossom accord.

Pleasant... with barely a whisper from the original Fahrenheit fragrance present.

today, i smelled it again and i must say it is a very good scents and it last. Maybe i buy this one :-) Nothing to do with Fleur du Male.
I also tried Armani Attitude is also a very nice scent. It is fresher (citrus) than Armani Code.
Black XS Paco is also an o.k. scent, but Fahrenheit 32 wins this time :-)

P-Natra, different roses for different roses I s'pose.
The two dry down almost identically on my skin. LFDM with a slight edge.
