Chiming in with my congratulations!

A just-married couple is great to look at and I wish you both all the happiness in the world.

Ehm, are you quite sure there is not a tiny piece of that wedding cake somewhere?
Fridge? Under the bed? Anywhere??

Thanks very much for your congratulations and warm wishes Mike, Linnea, AndiMAC, ajmc, Rich, Tinker, CologneJunkie, Musse, Chris, Mario, Sestra, foetidus, Marcello, Riannon, Riddle, kbe and Dimitri.

I'm glad you liked the pictures - they would have looked a lot better if I hadn't had to meet the 97kbyte limit - but they still get the gist across I think.

Hi Dimitri,
Actually I posted the scents a couple of posts after your one on SOTD 24 March. I had Lolita Lempika and she was wearing Annick Goutal's Le Chervrefeuille.

The spot is along the Great Ocean Road, at and around Port Campbell, Victoria, Australia. To be truthful, towards the end, I was starting to overdose on breath taking scenery, and just wanted to have a cup of coffee somewhere.

The bottom piece went to the guests, the middle bit to my mother to give to her visitors, and the top bit is being held by the bride. It's one of those fruit cakes that can last around a year when held in a closed tin.

Ah, what a pity, but I can understand the lovely bride.
Well, I suppose I will have to find a fruit cake here on the board

Thanks very much. The situation was absorb one breathtaking view. Drive a few miles to the next turn off, see another breathtaking view, drive a few miles, see another sign, see another breath taking view etc etc.

I often forget that people don't see the ocean all that much.

Me personally, I am not a fan of fruitcake. But there is a big american tradition of saving the top of the cake (usually in the freezer) and you take it out to have on your one year anniversary. I can't seem to recall if it's for luck, or just to relieve the memories of the special day. (pity for those who get divorced before the year is up)

There is only One Fruitcake.

It is re-gifted rapidly or used as a doorstop until such time as re-gifting once again is a possiblilty. It started the Journey in the small village of Claxton and ever since the world has not been the same..
