Ones that smell like apples, fresh laundry, nivea, freshly washed hair etc.... can anyone throw any suggestions my way?

Thanks!

I think that Clean Men, Thierry Mugler's Cologne and Gendarme are probably the "cleanest" fragrances I know. I also think that one of the Tommy Hilfiger's smells like fresh laundry.

Thanks!

Green Tea, for the sharp clean smell you're looking for, and for freshly washed hair, JPG Classique. To me, Classique smells like you've just stepped out of the bath, and you're soapy clean. It has amazing sillage.

JPG Classique? Wow, this smells anything but clean on me; more like warm and cosey, and quite heady! Its amazing how noses differ! :P

It is isn't it? I always think of it as my 'soapy' perfume. It is heady, and very strong, but when I say 'clean' I don't mean sharp clean, I mean just out of the bath with warm skin clean.

Perhaps the version of clean that's meant in this thread is more of a 'fresh' smell, in which case Classique doesn't fit at all.

Yeah, maybe I need to get more into the terminology here eh? :-)

I recently had a sniff of DKNY Delicious (the green apple one) and it smells great from the bottle, but on (especially on me) it turns into a nose pinching headachy whiff!

And today, I tried Ghost Cherish, and it had a delightlful hand cream-like smell... this 'girly' type scent really isnt 'me' at all, as I'd normally go for something deeper with more musk, but it does smell very clean to me, and I like that!
I like CKbe for the same reason (though a little more masculine).

Must try Clean in that case!

Try Red Delicious. I found it a little softer, somehow.

What about Pure White Linen for a clean smell? Can't do White Linen, smells like stale sweat to me.

For Ivory soap clean - Cologne Sologne (Parfums de Nicolai)

Hugo by Hugo Boss might be worth a try.

Hi goldiloks,

You've got some useful responses so far, and I'm not trying to cut off the discussion. But since your question is so frequently asked, I think you'll also get useful information by reviewing older threads. Here's 34 from the archives, nearly all of which are relevant: CLEAN.

Boss Bottled and Bvlgari PH.....if you don't like those, then might I suggest Blue Striped Coast?
