Annick Goutal candle, waste of money!

Heads up. I love Eau D'Hadrien and it is pretty strong, on me anyway, so I figured the candle at $55 would be good. It is faint at best. A pretty sight in its gold banded glass while burning but very weak scent. I'm SOOO disappointed.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I have a candle of Eau du Sud and while its throw isn't extreme either, it does manage to leave the room scented quite nicely. I'm thinking it might have to do with the citrus - perhaps this evaporates in the air rather quickly? As Eau d'Hadrien is mainly based around that, that could be the reason it's so faint. The size of the room could play a role too, but I'm no candle expert.

Yeah, as I'm using it in the bathroom (not huge) even with perfumed bath oil (different kind), It's kind of a lost cause. Thanks for commiserating with me.It's a nice scent, just barely noticable and not worth the money.

Thanks for the warning. I have been watching auctions for AG candles on eBay, because I really enjoyed the AG Noel candles I bought in December. They had a lovely scent and great throw.
