Daytime or Evening wear??

I recently purchasesd Y.S.L L'Homme and Traditional by Parsons this past Monday.

My question is what kind of wear do you think those 2 are for?

Daytime? Or Nighttime? Perhaps an an all around cologne?

I also had the same question about Hugo by Hugo Boss.?

Geir, by Geir Ness as well? I'm sampling Geir today to see how it is. I like it already from the sample card, right up my alley bro's. Geir is nice!

The reason I ask is because I'm so used to throwing on Hugo or L'E' Dissey before I go to work as a janitor. Why waste good stuff at that job no?

So I always wondered when the above colognes would be best used ?

Much thanks to you all!

YSL L'Homme, Hugo and Traditional by Hugh Parsons are all around fragrances ( preferably daytime ).
Geir is more suitable for evening wear. Just my 2 cents...

I think the august Parson's Traditional Blue is an all around fragrance, that slightly favors daytime.

I think any daytime scent works just fine at night too. Not so sure about the reverse, but still, in principle, I think any scent that one likes wears fine no matter when.

Remember to stop and smell the flowers on the path of...and all that.

Much thanks. Yea, I think the reverse wouldn't work either...the whole thing with a night scent being worn in the daytime. Can you imagine a dark cologne like Armani code or something like a "Black tie" cologne being worn during the day or at a barbeque or something. It just wouldn't work IMHO.

Tried the Geir today and if it was lighter I would like it but it is too strong, the card does smell different than when you wear ir on your skin. It is VERY sweet and call me crazy but I swear to God I smell LE MALE from J.P.Gautier!!!!!! I smell a copy cat or vice versa?

For Now I'll stick to my wardrobe and wait to try the Herrera line I guess....lol I'm runnin outta options. I like my Traditional and L'Homme but I would love to add 3 more colognes and then call it 6 months to a year. lol
