After reading, scanning and wishing through 1,000 Places to See Before You Die: A Traveler's LIfe List by Patricia Shultz I began to think.......I love to Travel-(a real passion of mine) and how many spots had I hit in this book???.hmmm..a few. I than read in Men's Journal, an article on Life Lists and it included some people's personal list.
I did some research and found one of the most Famous People who created a Life List and accomplished most of it was John Goddard. I have put one of the links to this amazing, remarkable man below:

Well now I am putting together my own list. It is something about writing something down as a goal, wish, aspiration that causes it to become tangible, accomplishable...something that can actually happen in ones lifetime.
Now of course I had to be realistic which is why I have included another link below concerning making a list without setting oneself up for disappointment:

(If these links do not connect-check them out anyway)
I remember when the Concorde was winding up its international travel and the QE2 was winding up her sailing. I said to myself I want to get on that plane and ship.... A door opened up for me to go on the Concorde at a very good fare and a friend of mine asked if I wanted to go. Well because of laziness and poor organization and procrastination-my opportunity flapped away. .
I will share that some of my dreams are to go to New Zealand, do a wine tasting tour in California or Italy and learn French and Spanish. Also to be at the next Basenotes Luncheon..
....Oh there are many more but these will happen.. I really do not want any major regrets in my life. I want to know that my lifes path was filled with adventure, fun, constant learning and any assistance I could give to make someone else's dreams, goals and accomplishments come to pass.
So tell me Basenotes Family...What are some (or even one) of your Have-To-Do-Things that you want to do or accomplish in your lifetime? Let me know..
Peace,
Otto
