Summer scents and air conditioning

Thread Starter
There are certain frags that have been said to 'come alive' in the heat and, thus, deemed as being more suitable for summer. However, does anyone encounter problems wearing these type of frags in air conditioned environments (especially at work)?

I've tried looking for threads of a similar nature but without any success. Unless I have a blind spot, I'm surprised this hasn't been discussed before. So, any thoughts on this?

Scents that 'come alive' in the heat, still smell really great indoors - to me. Not worse or better, just different.

For some weird reason Habit Rouge turns really sour on me when im in an airconditioned environment.

No other frag. Just my Habit Rouge (its an EDC)

Very interesting post, Trebor. I always wondered about this from the beginning, but thought it too trivial to ask.

Terre D'Hermes is notorious for going somewhat flat or metallic in a cool environment (as are a lot of citrus fragrances). But that would depend on your own body heat. If you're the type whose skin stays very warm even in the cool/cold, then you'd be fine.
