Melograno - Santa Maria Novella

Do you know and/or wear Melograno? I've never smelled it. On MUA they say it is much powdery and soapy. It's supposed to have a pomegranate note (referring to the name).

Tested this in their Florence boutique last year. It is very Mediterranean

and quite sharp at the start. The drydown is powdery florals. You can't go wrong with

this line in my opinion. Lasting power is not great, but they are beautifully crafted.

Pomegranate smells quite sharp and tart. This is the fragrance that Eva Green

wore in the latest Bond movie Casino Royale.

Hi Kewart. Yes I guess it's normal the lasting power is not so great: I think it's a cologne.
Thanks!

I sampled and reviewed this one a little while back. It's one WEIRD scent. I love the unusual, but Melograno was beyond my comprehension. I wonder if it would work better on a woman?

Love that stuff. Haven't worn it awhile. Saw an interview recently with Daniel Craig in which he said he wore it in Italy while filming Casino Royale. I can understand why as it smells a lot like certain parts of that environment.
